Monday Movie Quotes

Jerry: "I love you. You....complete me."
Dorothy: "Shut up.Just shut up. You had me at Hello."

My heart melted at this part. Gotta love Jerry Maguire !!!!
What I find funny about this quote is that Rene Zellwegger said it then married the man who sang it a few years later. LOL

Ray: "Do you know a human head weights 8lbs"

Rod: "Show Me The MONEY !!!!"

Dorothy: I love him! I love him for the man he wants to be. And I love him for the man he almost is.

Dorothy: I've had three lovers in the past four years, and they all ran a distant second to a good book and a warm bath

Jerry Maguire: Don't worry, I'm not gonna do what you all think I'm gonna do, which is, you know, FLIP OUT!

Well I think that is enough quotes, as we all know we could write many more. Jerry Maguire had a lot of memorable quotes and a very good sound track.

Missed a few Days

Well if you read my blog, you have noticed I have missed a few days. Well that is due to my laptop thinking it is the boss. I know it is just an inanimate object but I think that it knows that it is tax season, and that my refund will be in soon, so I can go and take my computer to the lovely computer store to get it fixed. Have you ever noticed that when you buy a car it is awesome, until you only have a couple payments left or that you actually get it paid off, then something goes wrong and your bill is usually larger than your regular monthly payment on your car. This seems to always happen to me. I always get excited that I got something paid off so I will have that extra money a month, but no something always happens and I end up paying that so called extra money out, instead of saving it. I guess I really shouldn't gripe because I usually have the extra money and that is what counts. LOL I just wish for once I could actually use that money for something I want or save it, and not spend it because something went wrong.

Well my laptop is working pretty good now, it actually let me get on the internet, so lets hope that it just had a little cold and is better now. I really don't want to have to buy another one. I mean yeah who wouldn't love a new laptop, but who actually wants to pay the money for one. LOL

Bones Thursday

Since most of you don't know me all that well, I would like to introduce myself. Hello my name is Paula McClure and I have been addicted to the show Bones for 3 yrs now. I know the first step is that I am admitting it, but like most addicts I don't want to quit. My favorite part of the week is Thursday's. Booth and Brenan keep me sane. I block out everything else out of my mind, just relax and go into a daze. I am also a little odd because I do not watch Bones at it's regular time, which is 7:00pm(central time). No I dvr it so I can watch it and fast forward through the commercials and so everyone else is in bed so I can watch it in peace and quiet. I know I am a weirdo. LOL !!!

Bones just simply amazes me, for some who don't know it is based on a real forensic anthropolgist, Miss Kathy Reichs. I just love the knowledge Brennan has related to science, but when it comes to every day life she is totally clueless on how the world actually functions or what emotions really are. She relates everything to a scientific reasoning, makes you second guess what you actually think.

Oh and Booth is just awesome, his looks, his attitude, sense of humor, did I mention his looks, his socks, his belt buckle, and oh did I mention his looks. Booth is the character that brings life and emotion to the show.

I can't forget to tell you about the "Squints", for those who haven't watched the show squints are the other scientist who work in the lab with Brennan. Hodgins is my favorite and I am still mad that him and Angela are not together anymore. GRRR Well anyway moving past my anger towards the writers of the show. If you have not ever seen an episode, watch one. It will only take one for you to know whether you are into it or not.

MOO

I would like you to meet Moo, I adopted him from our local vet's office, some inhumane person dropped him and his sister off on the side of the road. There was no way I could say no when he was showed to me. The girl who works at the vet was keeping them at her house and taking care of them until they got adopted out. She told me how he just layed around and was so timid, I felt so sorry for him. I brought him home and Joe asks me who's dog is that and I said it is ours. I figured I was going to get a lecture on how we already have a dog and blah blah blah, but no, Joe loved him.

Well Moo's timidness wore off, he is the most hyper dog I have ever been around. He likes to aggravate Bruiser(my 6 yr old chihuahua)and bruiser is a good dog so he just tries to ignore him to the best of his ability, he hides in his blanket most of the time. Don't get me wrong I love Moo, but sometimes I just don't get along with him to well. Joe does not help the situation with Moo he always says he is just a baby and he holds him and rocks him and tells him that mom (which is me LOL) just don't understand that he is a baby who needs extra love and attention. What do you do? I am surrounded by testosterone in my home.

I know people wonder why we named our dog Moo, besides him looking like a Holstein cow, in Thailand pork is called Moo, and this dog may be little but he never stops eating. He is always dragging his food dish to you or circling the cabinet where he knows his food is stored.

Things that really irritate me !!!!!

Well I was really nervous today, because Tuesday is the dreaded day of my Spanish class and we were supposed to have a test, that I was completely clueless on by the way. Well our teacher came down with the flu or something so class was canceled, but we were told if we would like to come in we could pick up a study guide and some people would be there if we would like to have a study group. Well me and my friend I go to school with decided to go pick up a study guide and study together. I don't like big groups of studying because there is always too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

Well there is only 5 people who came to the class to get a study guide and one of them I will not mention her name is an employee where I go to school, she is a secretary, took upon herself to act like the teacher and tell us that we needed to stay for the study session to get the study guide. Which I politely , well as polite as I could be, told her no this class is not mandatory the professor left us study guides, so I will take mine and I will be leaving. I mean the class will have to be made up anyway, attendance was not required. Well needless to say she gave me my studyguide, but I guess just to spite me she didn't give me the answer key that went with it. But I fooled her she gave it to the girl setting next to me, so I borrowed hers and went and made copies for myself and a few other people who were unable to attend tonight to get the study guide.

Why do some people take upon themselves to assert themselves as something they are not, I mean she is a student in this class not a teacher, we are all equals. So please to everyone don't be that person that thinks you know everything, even if you are very smart and do know the answers don't just take it upon yourself to tell everyone else what to do. Ask if anyone would like some help.

For people who know me I am very outspoken and I am trying very hard to work on not being confrontational with people, so today I am very proud of myself. She made me very upset, but I reminded myself sometimes people have to try to take control to make themselves feel better because something in their own life is unstable.

Monday Movie Quotes

"You know what pisses me off? I've been spilling my guts all weekend and I don't know a thing about you." Debra Messing as "Kat Ellis"
[pause] "I'm allergic to fabric softener. I majored in comparative literature at Brown. I hate anchovies. And I think I'd miss you even if we never met." Dermot Mulroney as "Nick Mercer"

"I'd rather fight with you than make love with anyone else" Dermot Mulroney as "Nick Mercer"

The Wedding Date, one of my all time favorite movies. Where do you find a guy like this, I mean I don't want him to be an escort, but just the way he looks at her and speaks to her makes my heart melt. Now I know it is just a movie, but I truly believe these guys do exist. Don't get me wrong mine has said some pretty amazing things to me, but at the same time he has said some pretty bone head things.

Just want everyone out there to know that you do deserve someone who is respectful of you and treats you well. There is no reason that you deserve any less so do not stand for it. I know making them decisions sometimes can be rather hard, but you deserve to have the best life possible.

Altered Plans

Do you ever have big plans to get up early, get your house clean, and then just relax? Well that was my plan today. The boys usually get up and go do something together on Sundays and I have the house all to myself, well today they decided to sit in our living room and play wii. So of course this altered my plans, so far it is 12:30pm and all I have accomplished is giving the dogs their baths and cooking lunch. I now understand why my mom always said she could never get anything done when us kids were home. Having a kid, even though he is 16 living here is a big adjustment. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I am glad he is here.

So now I am setting on my couch watching the boys talk to the t.v. and high five each other on how well they are doing on the game, as a I am typing this blog. What I need to be doing is reviewing my index card for my spanish test Tuesday. I never knew how difficult learning another language would be. I feel as if I am back in kindegarten learning to read and write again.(LOL)

But anyway I can say that the boys altered my plans all I want, but I know that truly it is just a gloomy sunday day and all I do is want to relax at home with my boys and maybe take a nap. HaHa like that will ever happen.
